Welcome to CatCanyon Quilts Gallery

Quilts designed & quilted by Teri Mac

CatCanyon Quilts Gallery is a collection of quilts made over the last few years. I've included antedotes and other information.

Hope you enjoy the tour.
(Be sure to check out the other gallery alcoves listed at the bottom of this page—thanks.)

The first one is called Blue Ice. Mainly because of the fabrics involved and the zig-zag sashing reminded me of ice skaters' tracks.

Blue Ice
is a queen size quilt I made
after reading about different kinds of sashing. This particular sashing is known as Lighting Streaks. It is made of winter themed fabrics (such as snow-
flakes on ice-blue colors and white on white corn snowflakes).

Broken Band
is shown here as a wall hanging and a throw pillow. I used the
left over fabric from the quilt
to make these (similar-but-not-
quite-the-same patterns) items.

Blue Ice sat for a long
time before I found a
quilting motif that fit
it's style. I really like
the colors in it and
how it turned out.

This is one of the
One Block Only Traditional Quilt Blocks.

I think is makes up into a beautiful wall hanging or
just as lovely as a pillow (which, by the way, the instructions for the pillow
is included free with the
wall quilt pattern).
