Well, Miss Jazzy is now world reknown! We entered her picture on the Happy Cat Website in London and she won “Cat of the Week” honors!
We celebrated with a big hug and a lot of purring.
You can see her at The cat of the Week.

I don’t think she’s as excited as I am. The Happy Cat website is a fellow SBI-er, but that had nothing to do with the voting! I’ve enjoyed looking
at other websites by SBI-ers and liked Happy Cat enough to link the site with the Quilting Cats and enter one of my cats in their photos & stories.

I just have to say, I didn’t know Teri did that. She did choose one of my best photos, I really look nice in this one. I sure liked sleeping on the “Dora” quilt. It was on the frame a long time because it kept giving Teri fits. Anyway I guess it’s fun being a “Cat of the Week” and having people look at me all over the world!...........................Jazzy

We other cats will never hear the end of that! Oh, well...

Don’t know about your part of the world, but it has been HOT in our part. Temps have been around 100 degrees for most of the last week!We feel sorry for those outside cats, at least we have it cooler inside.

Teri has been helping out a friend move to Cedaredge, CO. It certainly is cooler up there near the south side of Grand Mesa. Doing that, though, has put her behind in helping us with our diaries and all the other stuff she does on the computer.

We’ll get Teri back in the swing of things, though. Got a lot of news about those little fellers we’ve started taking a shine to and other things going on in our world. We’ll get all that real soon.

Check out these great quilts we would love to nap on!

This is a great place to look at quilts other people have made. There are many wonderful quilts on display (over 100!) and the owner of the site is a cat person, too. Makes her extra special in our eyes!

Patty here—I looked over Teri's shoulder while she was checking this site out and believe me, I saw several I wanted to cuddle up on and I'm the real expert here!

The above website came to me in what is called a Link Exchange and over the last few days, our emails have grown from arranging a link exchange to sharing tidbits about our cats and other fun things. She is a big rescuer of cats, just as I am. She loves a purring cat when you pick it up—I was telling her how different the two kittens I raised are from other cats. They immediately begin to purr when I pick them up--it makes me feel like they think I'm their own special mommie. I know kittens purr to the cat mommies while the nurse, so I guess Jethro and Ducky don't know I'm not anything else.

Anyway, I wanted to put Quilt-Pictures in here so you can go visit the site and enjoy other people's creative endeavors! (Watch for my Blue Ice and Broken Band quilts in her gallery)........And say Hi! while you're there!
